I’m a fourth-year student with a tendency to spend money I don’t have on things I don’t need. My interests centre around books, movies, travelling, and pretty much anything to do with dogs. Being an extroverted introvert, I thrive when sharing stories and having one-to-one conversations with people from all walks of life. I have insight into the challenges associated with starting over in new social environments, coming out, mental health issues, and relationships. Juggling friends, jobs, family, and academics is hard, there are no two ways about it. As a peer supporter, my goal is simple: to listen and offer emotional support in a stress-free environment to whoever needs to take a step outside of the chaos of everyday life. Our time at university carries the opportunity to conduct self-exploration and to embrace new and, oftentimes, daunting experiences. We all struggle in different ways but no problem is too huge to talk about. So if you feel like having a chat, I'm a non-judgemental, open-minded guy who is more than happy to oblige.
