Who we are

The Student2Student society is run by a dedicated committee (see our committee page) who organise social events for our volunteers and their mentor groups, publicise the S2S programme and ensure that the entire organisation is run with the students' best interests at heart.

The largest group of S2S volunteers are the S2S Mentors. In 2015/16 there are around 750 volunteer mentors working in the College to welcome first year students, organise regular meet-ups and to be on hand to answer any questions they may have. Each school/course area has a group of Head Mentors (see our Head Mentor page) who are there to make sure the mentors have all the support and assistance they need.

S2S also offers Peer Supporters (see our Peer Supporter page) who are specifically trained to offer listening and support to any student in the College and meet-up groups like New2Dublin (for anyone new to the city, Irish or International).

Student2Student is part of the Trinity Counselling, Learning Development and Student 2 Student Services. We have a small core staff (see our staff page) who work to co-ordinate the programme and to provide training to all volunteers. The S2S co-ordinator reports directly to the Director of the Trinity Counselling, Learning Development and Student 2 Student Services.

Mission of the Trinity Counselling, Learning Development and Student 2 Student Services
